(1) Health service employees will receive an amount equal to one month's salary earned by the employee for festivals celebrated according to their religion, culture, and tradition every year as festival expenses. Such amount can be paid by employees once in a financial year on the occasion of the main festival celebrated according to their religion, culture and tradition.
(2) An amount equal to one month's pension will be given to a retired employee who is entitled to a pension as festival expenses.
(3) Provisions related to medical expenses, disability benefits, amputee benefits, extraordinary family pensions and gratuities, educational allowances, progeny allowances, child care allowances or other benefits received by health service employees shall be as prescribed.
